HOW NICOLE VEN VIDEOS STARTED
Hi, I’m Nicole, creator of Nicole Ven Videos, entrepreneur, trainer and storyteller with 15+ years of experience in video production, content and online business. When I first started freelancing in videography, I didn’t even own a camera.
I used to rent one at 6 am and run straight to client projects, which was slightly unhinged, but also explains my entire personality. I didn’t wait for perfect equipment, perfect timing or perfect confidence. I started, learned fast and figured things out while working with real clients and real deadlines.
Since then, I’ve built long-term client relationships, worked across different countries, survived the pandemic as a videographer when almost all my projects disappeared within seven days, and adapted every time the industry changed.
Which, in this industry, is basically every five minutes.
FROM VIDEO PRODUCTION TO TRAINING & CONSULTING
My work has never been only about filming and editing. It has always involved ideas, storytelling, problem-solving, communication and understanding how content actually works. That naturally led me into training and consulting.
I’ve trained 1,000+ people, from small businesses to professionals working within Fortune 500 global companies, on topics including:

- Content creation
My goal is always to make complicated things practical and easy to understand.
WORKING REMOTELY & INTERNATIONALLY
Over the years, I’ve lived and worked in Denmark, Czech republic and London, worked with clients remotely, created video projects, written blogs, shared tutorials on YouTube and built digital products.
Today, much of my work can be done remotely, including consulting, training, content reviews and helping businesses improve how they create and use video. That means I can work with companies in the U.S., UK, Europe and elsewhere without needing to be in the same room.
I STILL CREATE CONTENT MYSELF
I don’t only advise other people on content. I create it too every day. That matters to me because social media changes constantly, and I would rather learn by actually using it than repeat advice from five years ago.
MY HOBBY ACCIDENTALLY TURNED ME INTO AN INFLUENCER
Outside of work, my big obsession is hockey. I also have a “secret” hockey TikTok and Instagram account that somehow turned into its own little universe. I also managed to annoy what felt like the entire country of Canada during the Olympics with sarcastic hockey analysis and ragebait. Not everyone appreciated the joke. The 10 million views were nice though.

This website is part portfolio, part blog and part knowledge hub. It’s where I share what I’ve learned from years of working with clients, training businesses, creating content, building projects from zero and adapting every time the internet decides to change the rules again.
