I received subtitles .SRT file from the translator and when I imported in Premiere Pro, they didn’t import in full. I knew .SRT files works like a code but what confused me the most was the fact that when I imported into Final Cut Pro, my subtitles showed me more lines but still incomplete.

How to open .SRT file to edit it?

I open the .SRT file in text editor after I bought a text edit notepad for Mac (Windows has no issue with default setting) and I saw the mistake. It can be anything, a comma, a space or any minor difference in formatting. And it can be present at any point in any line.

You have see how many lines your editing software displays and then find the following line in text editor. There will be something missing from the formatting. Once you add it and save it. Re-upload and the files works!
