Markers are a great way to highlight important points in your Premiere Pro project. You can create markers on the actual clip – if it’s selected in the timeline – or you can create markers on the sequence. Deleting markers from the clip is easy. You double click on the clip which makes it open in the Source panel and from there, you click on any markers and you will see the option to delete all the markers.

How to delete markers from the timeline?

When deleting from the timeline you right click on one – you have the option to delete all of them. Sometimes this option is greyed out and that’s because you are selected on a clip. You need to make sure you deselect all the clips and layers in the timeline to use this feature.

If you hold down Shift key you can select multiple markers and then click on delete selected marker.
